Every waking moment of my life is spent promoting and assisting with support of openSUSE. I give away numerous CD's everyday in fact in 2010 every Christmas card I have posted included a DVD of openSUSE.
In Summer 2011 I am flying back to Tbilisi to install opensuse on a number of user machines training people to support their peers.
I own / moderate / opp in channel opensuse-lxde on freenode helping to support people with issues on that desktop environment.
I am not a packager I do not have time and do not know how.
Over the last 2 years I have converted more than a dozen students to openSUSE Linux and when they have queries they call me directly, they do not use IRC or the Forum because its easier for them to just pick up the phone and call me.
I try to help out in forum more and when Uni allows also Support in #suse.
I have been using a version of linux since suse 8.x / 9.0 it is the best operating system on the internet and I do support the guiding principles.
I also test milestone releases of openSUSE and if i find any bugs file them.
I link to one topic I started and working with in the lead up to 11.3. using factory milestones to beta test the hardware I have.
What more do I have to do? I started a blog somewhere but I lost it I will find it and start it again.
I have been helping out in #suse on and off for more than 5 years.
I give opensuse to everybody and anybody who will take it.
I walk around the university promoting Linux - the tutor asks the class to use Project (MS) I say can we use open-project with openSUSE Linux - wow what a good idea sure!
Tutor says ok class you need to create a spreadsheet open MS Excel (excuse me tutor can we use openoffice-calc and opensuse linux - sure what a good idea.
I am known throughout the University for my passion for Linux, please take that one stage further and give me membership so i can use this endorsement to further increase my credibility amongst my peers in converting them to opensuse.
I have even been known to take out market stalls paid for out of my own money to promote openSUSE.
What more do I have to do to convince you I deserve it?
And I guess yes I have been a user since version 9 and do submit some bugs.
Please guys what more most I do?
